What's up, listeners! We're on the air and you may be slow on a few words, but this is a list of terms and items that appear in the Megaman Starforce world that I'm gonna run down for ya' to catch up on so you know what I'm talking about when I'm on the air. If you want to learn about them or look something up, come here and take a read. To search easily, use the ctrl+f feature and search with “~Letter Here~” and then it will take you straight to that section.::~A~::
- Ability Waves ~ These are special waves that grant Wave Forms the usage of certain abilities. Some examples of Ability Waves are: HP Upgrades, First Barrier, and Float. You have an average of two ability waves and can reach five within time.
- Advent Ship ~ These are flying vehicles in the sky that advertise events. They usually come in the form of blimp like objects and are as large as an average car. However, they do have an incredible projection screen to see from below and have great sound quality to promote what they are advertising.
- Air Display ~ This is a feature of the Transer Version 2. This allows a holographic (but pressure sensitive) screen to appear and be used to talk to someone from far away or even use touch projection features. If you have an EM Being within the device, they can help manage this or even appear on screen to address you, but be careful who sees.
- AM-ians ~ These are life forms from the Planet AM. Most AM-ians were destroyed when Planet FM attacked their planet from paranoia stemmed behind the FM-ian King, Cepheus. Many are wandering throughout the galaxy. The three Satellite Admins (Leo Kingdom, Pegasus Magic, and Dragon Sky) are all AM-ians and sages of Planet AM that guard the three Satellites. AM-ians have an unique ability that enables them to turn humans into EM Waves.
- Assist ~ When a “Character Card” is used in order to summon an EM Body. In the Video Game series, these were Mega Cards that were blue themed and generally summoned characters to use their signature attacks. In this Roleplay, you can use these to summon a partner’s “Residual Waves” in order to attack a target or even as a tool. You can have a maximum of two assists during battle. If you use the card of the said person who is helping you during battle, they can use a signature attack regardless of cool downs and wait times because the “Residual Waves” would give them strength. However, the wait time refreshes itself.
::~B~::- Badge of Loneliness ~ These are powerful objects that can be used to separate yourself from Link Power and Brothers. It grants you the ability to use the Rogue/Burai forms if you collect all six. In the Roleplay, Badge of Loneliness is a single Indie Fragment that has grown overtime and given the user the ability to use more abilities and strength without the use of Brother Bands.
- Battle Cards ~ These are cards that have battle data. Generally, they are used to delete viruses when slid into the Transer, but on a small scale. To get the best quality out of the data, the user must use “Card Force“ (Known as Predation for Megaman) or some form of materialization for the card when the user is in an EM Wave Changed form (or Denpa Henkan in Japanese). You can buy Battle Cards at various shops in Mega Man Star Force. Wide Sword, Ground Wave, and Air Spread are all examples of Battle Cards.
- Brother Band ~ This is a creation of Kelvin Stelar (Geo's father). It is the connection between people that is created by the Transer Devices and registered for friends to stay in contact. This is a way to strengthen the bonds between people. It was used in an attempt to connect with the FM-ians, but was mistaken as a beacon to signal an attack and resulted in the destruction of the Space Station, Peace. Up to six people can form Brother Bands with one another.
::~C~::- Card Folder ~ This is a folder made with 30 cards that Geo can equip and use these cards in battle. Only five Mega Cards and one Giga Card are allowed in your folder, unless you equip something to up the ante.
- Card Force ~ This refers to two different things. First off, it refers to Navi Cards. Geo can swipe a Navi Card (like PitcherMan or ThermoMan) into his Transer, and they will help get him past several obstacles. Secondly, it refers to Battle Cards that summon weapons (like Sword and Plasma Gun).
- Change Frequency ~ Allows for the user to change their frequency. The Electromagnetic Wave World is invisible to the naked eye, (unless you‘re a Murian or have Murian blood like Solo), so you can change your Frequency between three sets: Visible Frequency, which allows you to interact with the Real World and disallowing you to be on the EM Wave Road. This makes the rules of gravity apply in the world around you, but since you’re an EM Being you still have superior strength, speed, and are light as a feather. There is Electromagnetic Frequency that allows you to inhabit the EM Wave Road and walk along it. You can not be seen by ordinary human beings and can travel along the Wave Road at high speeds. Then there is Radio Frequency This frequency is compact and light and allows you to travel along the Wave Road in a faster speed. You can press yourself into devices, computers, and even in the psyche of others although you cant do anything. This was used for examples by Gemini Spark in order to bring to the surface the personality of Wolf Woods by retaining the will of Damien Woods in order to dominate his psyche and usually by EM Beings in order to hide themselves in other devices such as the Transers.
- Character Cards ~ The EM Cards of characters. These cards come in two forms, “Mega Cards” and “Giga Cards.” Mega Cards are weaker forms of summoning and uses the user’s Primary Form of attack. The Giga Cards uses their highest signature attack. Character Cards use a form called “Assist” and unleashes one attack before vanishing or allows a partner battling along side of you to use a the signature attack of a card, making it so they can attack a second time with their signature move regardless of cool downs, but according to attack move.
- Choina ~ Choina is a modern day representation of China which holds true to its traditions. Located along north of Nation Z, Choina is popular for it’s medicines and medical treatment. - Noise ~ A strange essence that seeps from FM-ians and sources itself from their increased activity upon the Earth. The matter constantly collects in the area and finds its way into different types of Electromagnetic Beings, usually making them lose control, but in FM-ians causes different changes. Noise has the ability to harm some of the devices and causes tremendous effects on viruses. Few FM-ians are capable of Noise. Noise is capable of manipulating the loneliness of human beings and intensifies their feelings making it easier for FM-ians to control while also being able to harm the human host. EM Technology generates small amounts of Noise. Note: Crimson is not an aspect within this Roleplay.
::~O~::- OOParts ~ Out-Of-Place-ARTifacts. These are the mysterious relics from the Mu continent. By using them, user can evoke Tribe-On and assume the form of one of the mysterious Murian tribe forms. These are currently stationed on the Lost Continent and by any means can not be removed or disturbed until it is time to do so.
::~P~::- Peace ~ The space station that was taken over by the FM-ians and late was decayed because of it being ejected of all the researchers and Geo Stelar’s father, Kevin. Omega-Xis was able to turn every person on board into an Electromagnetic Wave since he was an AM-ian, even though he was unaware at time, and the space station Peace was left to drift.
- Pulse Out ~ The term used when powering down from one’s EM Human or Electromagnetic Form. At this point, they appear off the EM Wave Road and appear on the ground or where they stand. When forced to “Pulse Out” they are done so where they stand, but when done by manual, they appear wherever they are able to.

- Residual Waves ~ Electromagnetic Waves that are left over from deleted EM Bodies, usually in their Electromagnetic Human forms. They can attack others at times, but can be harnessed into card data. In the roleplay, Residual Waves are created for “assists” in order to attack an enemy with a single attack or technique and then vanish after use.
::~S~::- Satella Police ~ These are the police officers that investigate Zeta Waves and EM Viruses. They also track down EM Wave Humans, if they appear. They are led by lead officer Bob Copper. The Satella Police use vacuum-like devices to suck viruses into a hose and capture them in a backpack on their backs. They handle most of the EM Virus activity that is on a small scale, but they are helpless against EM Humans.
- Sharo ~ Sharo is a cold country that is located southern of Electopia and almost to one of the Earth’s poles. There is little plant life in the southern most regions and the country is famous for its research and military exercises. It’s also famous for its hot springs and resort areas. This country is vaguely a representation of their modern day Russia.
- Star Break ~ a term used to define changing into a ‘Star Force’ form that is given to by one of the three Satellite Administrators. In this roleplay, Star Force is rare and obtainable only by the means of administration. There are only three Star Break recipients. It has three forms: Ice Pegasus, Fire Leo, and Green Dragon.
- Sub-Cards ~ These are one-time use cards that grant Mega Man an ability or heal him. Some examples of Sub-Cards are Unlocker, D. Energy, and Fire Search. In this roleplay, they are used in the same way, and are discarded after use. However, they are out-of-character tools and in no way can be used in battle.
::~T~::- Transers ~ These are like bulky, mini-laptops that attach to a person's arm. They come in three colors (red, blue, and green) and each one registers to either the Leo Satellite, the Pegasus Satellite, or the Dragon Satellite (respectively). It doubles as a phone and a way to check your email on the go!
This is also a toy in Japan. You can play through it as Rockman and delete viruses. No Battle Cards are necessary, because they are all in-game. In this Roleplay, Transers have the same function, but are in version 2.0 allowing them to have a more slimmer and compact design like a bracelet and opens up allowing to show a screen, keypad, and video projection feature for phone talk.- Tribe-On ~ Mega Man uses an OOPArt to perform Tribe-On. His powers increase drastically. In this roleplay, the OOParts have the same function and only go to three recipients. There are three Tribe-Ons: Electric Zerker (Thunder Berserker), Fire Saurian (Fire Dinosaur), and Wood Ninja (Green Shinobi).
- Tribe King/Queen ~ This is when Mega Man uses all three OOPArts when he uses Tribe-On. His power is much stronger. They seem able to manipulate one’s heart like other FM-ians, but on a higher scale. Their intelligence is lesser than other EM Beings for some of them, and are usually based on mythical creatures that simply want to be left in solitude like Plesio, or want to be treated like a God such as Condor.
::~V~::- Visible Frequency ~ allows you to interact with the Real World and disallowing you to be on the EM Wave Road. This makes the rules of gravity apply in the world around you, but since you’re an EM Being you still have superior strength, speed, and are light as a feather.
- Visualizer ~ Geo received his pair of Visualizer from his father, Kelvin. They are like sunglasses that enables the user to see EM Waves. Geo is the only one to actually have a pair that we know of at this time. In this roleplay, Visualizers are a more common tool than usual to see the Electromagnetic Wave World. However, they only see the flowing waves and bright and vivid colors and not the Wave Road completely and EM Humans appear as bulgy silhouettes. When tampered with by Electromagnetic Beings and exposed to their EM Waves, the power of visualizers increase making it so they can see the Electromagnetic Wave Road and EM Beings crystal clear.
::~W~::- Wave Battle ~ This is a battle against Wave Viruses or Wave Humans. These are actually common in the world of Megaman Starforce, but these battle wage beyond the eyes and knowledge of others commonly.
- Wave Frequency ~ If a human and a FM-ian have the same Wave Frequency, the FM-ian can possess that human and also perform EM Wave Change with it. AM-ians and UMAs can also sense wave frequencies, but UMAs seldom check for this and try to overpower whichever vessel is useful or can even overtake Murian artifacts such as their clay soldiers. Wave Frequencies determine if one EM Body is compatible with a human. They can even possess non-living figures and one example being “Crown Thunder.”
- Wave Roads ~ These are the pathways that data takes in order to get places. They are high in the sky and are EM Beings’ preferred mode of transportation. They are sometimes referred to as "ER" which is shorthand for "Electromagnetic Roads." Wherever Electromagnetic Wave Roads are located, Electromagnetic Beings can travel skyward. These paths can be used to circle the Earth within seconds, unless they are deterred by viruses that are also present on the Wave Road.
- Wave Scanners ~ These are the slimmer, more portable version of Transers. They are hand-held and have the same capabilities as Transers. Like with Transers, Wave Scanners are also each registered to either the Leo, Pegasus, or Dragon Satellite. They also grant the user the ability to see EM Life Forms.
Wave Scanners did not appear in the game. Wave Scanners are also toys in Japan. You can attach this to your Nintendo DS and transfer data to Rockman. It requires Battle Cards to use. It only works on the Japanese copies of the game. In the roleplay, they are upgraded to their 2.0 versions like Transers, and are more useful for on-to-go people since they double as nice MP3 Players.::~X~::
---N/A---::~Y~::- Yumland ~ Yumland seems to be a country composed mostly of cement and brick laid streets. It is popular for its rich food tastes, texture, and spices making it one of the leading exports of differing food based items and Electromagnetic Recipes.
::~Z~::- Zeta Waves ~ These are waves that FM-ians and AM-ians leave behind. They are also traceable by the Satella Police. FM-ian’s Zeta Waves in large amounts can also create Noise which conjures and attracts Electromagnetic Viruses.
